My approach to Mental Health

I endeavor to offer comprehensive, tailored and holistic treatment plans for my clients.

What can you expect from your Initial Consultation? Your Initial Consultation will consist of a clinical assessment. The purpose of this assessment is to build up a clinical picture as accurate as possible of your or your child’s needs in order to decide what intervention or support might be the most suitable for you or your child.

When appropriate, I combine a full medication plan with a range of psychotherapeutic interventions, including Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and EMDR. I also provide psychological support and intervention based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Systemic Therapy and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy principles.

When working with children and adolescents, I work directly with the young person in combination with parental support, helping parents to gain a better understanding and to manage these conditions in a positive manner.

I apply a Positive Psychiatry approach in my practice, helping clients to enhance performance in their personal and work life, to reduce distress and discomfort and to acquire a satisfying self and interpersonal balance.
